Going Home

The Boise airport is just as big if not bigger than buffalo, but still most of the planes are small and medium sized, or "Regional Jet" as they say, weird..

These where bad pictures as usual, but it was kind of cool to see that Windows XP sucked at a simple task like running an information and ad board in the terminal, it kept rebooting every 30 seconds or so, nice of you to be so helpful Bill and Steve, you should start manufacturing some cars that restart themselves and sell them as soon as 75% of the nuts are tightned.
Perhaps its related to how the Microsft wimps bailed out of the tech cummit sessions when they where getting too many critical questions about Vista licensing and deployment option. Why does Microsoft force me to have a machine running windows server only to run a "Key Server" to keep validating something I already paid for???? Its nucking futs you idiots.. kind of nice for the other side of the desktop, it will probably make many more be willing to switch to a usable operating system instead.

Except for the good quality of these images it really was an exceptionally cool place architecturally - and upscale for a place where people walk in with ski boots.

Nearing the Valley

Some hills and greener landscapes appeared closer to the valley, it was quite a relief at that point, after 2.5 hours on a bus at 4PM hadnt eaten much since 9AM and had nothing to drink or munch on... We'll blame MPC for that part :)

Trip To Idaho May 2007

Me and Chad took off to Boise Idaho, I was up at 4AM EST and traveled for a bit, didnt take any pictures until 10 minutes from the aiport, taking pictures through dark bus window doesnt really turn out very well so the next few pictures are all bad... And then of course I am a great photographer picking the right kind of scenery, Nancy and TJ that was sitting behind us noticed my skills early on, we became good friends throughout the MPC event.

Denver in March 2007

As we arrived in denver we sort of got dissapointed with the views, we thought there would be like big mountains on all sides, but it is really not more like some distant ones (later on this trip we saw that Salt Lake City UT was kind of what we though denver would be like as far as mountains go... Denver had great beers though, and great weather for march!!!

Traded in the Mac'n'Cheese Truck

My 5 year journey with the Mac'n'Cheese (aka 1994 F150 v8 5.0 double gas tanks) is over, today I traded it in for a 2004 Chevy.
It had 147000 miles on it when I purchased it in May 2002, it had 168400 miles on it today, 6 month old tires and a brand new starter (3 days old!).
